HR Project Manager
This is a highly visible and collaborative position that requires a strong understanding of all HR disciplines, including HR business partner role, organizational development, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage and analyze people and organizational data to drive HR agenda and recommendations.
- Autonomously lead and manage hands-on projects to completion, support strategic thinking throughout all projects.
- Constantly update and follow project plan to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
- Responsible for project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues and risks.
- Ensures project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Communicates project status and progress to stakeholders and senior management.
- Develops and maintains project documentation, including project charters, schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Conducts post-project evaluations to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in human resources management, actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, business, accounting, or finance.
- 6 years progressive experience in Human Resources; broad experience across Human Resources generalist areas including but not limited to experience in mergers and acquisitions, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, HRIS/HR services, organization design/development, talent and performance management, minimum of 3 years project/program management experience.
- Demonstrates curiosity to gather business acumen and culture, learns rapidly and eagerly and seeks to understand patterns and connections through strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Possesses program management skills including planning work, prioritizing and managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, time management, and delivering results with tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Technical skills: need to have a good understanding of the HR function and related technologies and tools, such as HR information systems (HRIS) and project management software.
- Change management skills: HR project managers must be adept at managing change, including the ability to anticipate and manage the impact of the project on the organization's culture and structure.
- Must be collaborative, working closely with other departments to ensure the success of the project.
- Has excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to develop and execute a comprehensive and effective communication plan for project roll out across the organization.
- Has proven ability to think and move quickly, manage multiple priorities, and make difficult tradeoffs to meet deadlines, especially in fast-paced ambiguous environments.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
