Job Description
The HR Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing various HR programs related to management, employee development, performance management, and recognition. This includes providing program leadership, thought partnership, analysis, and strategic decision-making support to achieve successful business outcomes and drive change.
This is a highly visible and collaborative position that offers a unique opportunity to partner across the leadership team, represent the HR function, and deliver impactful work. A comprehensive understanding of all HR disciplines, including HR business partners, organizational development, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and operations, is crucial for success in this role.
- HR Metrics: Leverage and analyze people and organizational data to inform the HR agenda and make recommendations. Provide data analysis support to HR Partners as needed.
- Autonomous Project Leadership: Lead and manage hands-on projects to completion, while supporting strategic thinking throughout all projects. These projects will focus on key organizational and talent development spaces.
- Project Planning and Monitoring: Continuously update and follow project plans to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Issue Resolution and Risk Management: Responsible for identifying and resolving project-related issues and risks.
- Deliverables and Quality Standards: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and senior management.
- Documentation and Evaluation: Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, budgets, and reports. Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Accounting, or Finance is required. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with broad experience across generalist areas, including mergers and acquisitions, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, HRIS/HR services, organization design/development, talent and performance management. At least 3 years of project/program management experience is also necessary.
