Job Duties Include:

• • Complete weekly check run and process special payment check requests
  • Process vendor invoices by verifying receipts, supporting documentation, approvals, and GL coding
  • Ensure invoices are entered timely and paid per vendor payment terms
  • Match invoices to checks, obtain check signatures timely, and distribute checks appropriately
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Reconcile vendor statements and research and address discrepancies as necessary
  • Maintain positive working relationships with vendors via phone and email communications
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with other teams within Prisma
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• • High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred
  • 1-5 years accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred
  • Must have strong computer skills, including experience working with Excel and web-based systems
  • Must have a strong work ethic, a professional attitude, and be reliable
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must possess high attention to detail and be a proven multi-tasker
  • Must operate with a sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy
