As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver with experience in delivering customer orders, driving a commercial van, operating hand trucks and electric lifts, and a minimum of 3 years' experience as a local delivery driver to join our team in Phoenix.

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure and punctual delivery of our customer orders. Behind the wheel of our commercial van, you will navigate the bustling streets throughout Phoenix and the surrounding areas, becoming the face of our company during each interaction. Your attention to detail, excellent driving skills, dedication to providing outstanding customer service, proficiency in using GPS and local road maps, and desire for personal and professional growth will be pivotal to your success in this role, as you embody our company values and represent our commitment to exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial van or box truck to transport customer orders to designated locations within Phoenix and surrounding areas. Some deliveries may be in Tucson, Yuma or other cities within Arizona.
• Verify the accuracy of each order by checking items against delivery records or manifests.
• Plan optimal delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries and maximize efficiency, utilizing GPS and local road maps.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering orders promptly, professionally, and with a friendly demeanor.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and timely manner, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department if needed.
• Operate hand trucks and electric lifts to load and unload items at delivery locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, and fueling.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a local delivery driver.
• Familiarity with Phoenix and surrounding areas to efficiently navigate delivery routes, utilizing GPS and local road maps.
• Proficiency in operating hand trucks and electric lifts for loading and unloading.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
