Working as an Offset Pressman, you can expect the following:
• Must be able to set up and run jobs on your own
• Must be able to operate a Multi-Color press with Aqueous Coater.
• Typically run 1/c, 2/c and 4/c process, PMS inks, producing a wide variety of work on different stocks.
• Quality control check each job maintaining necessary print quality and color match standards
• Complete all scheduled press maintenance
• Must work closely and communicate well with coworkers
• Must work well in a team environment
• Maximize press production time
• Thoroughly read all production tickets and understand prior to beginning job. Notify manager with any questions or concerns.
• Assist with other light duties as needed
Qualifications
Enough About Us! Candidate Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
• 3 years experience of multi-color Offset Presses, 26" to 40". Komori experience a PLUS, but not required.
• Must be able to work 8 hours per day
• Must be willing to work overtime and extra days as needed
• Must be able to sit, stand, and kneel
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
