Job Summary
First point of contact for team members calling, or emailing, the HR Contact Center (Ask HR) with questions or issues related to HR or other current system events. Independently evaluates the callers' needs from the information given and be equipped to accurately respond to a wide variety of topics. Topics include, but are not limited to, compensation, benefits, open enrollment, pension changes, policy questions, market adjustments, Workday access, and similarly complex issues. If there is an issue the HR Consultant is unable to address, they are to provide sufficient information for the person they are handing off to can quickly and easily assist the team member. Responsible for compliance and regulatory required administrative functions and project work. This is a remote positionEssential Functions

Evaluates team members' needs from calls, emails and Workday Help cases and respond in a timely and accurate manner.
Uses technology to find answers to wide range of questions on a broad group of topics.
Key contributor in compliance requirements such as reviewing I-9, running Motor Vehicle Records, and other similar tasks
Responds to subpoenas requesting Human Resource files and collaborates with in-house counsel for any additional subpoena requests.
Gathers information related to SC unemployment claims and respond as appropriate
Responds to governmental agencies related to team members' employment for specific forms such as, governmental employment forms, student aid forms, and requests from mortgage companies.
Works on various audit projects, such as licensure/ certification, I-9, reviewing and determining which employee files need to be converted from paper to electronic version, and projects requiring similar skills.
Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post high school diploma / highest degree earned. Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience - Two (2) years HR or customer service experience
