Job Summary

The LDT Program Administrator/Specialist will oversee and manage key programs within the Learning Design & Technologies department. This role drives the development, implementation, and evaluation of learning initiatives and technology solutions. Responsibilities include coordinating enterprise learning strategies, managing team onboarding programs, and leading outreach efforts to promote organizational growth and performance.

The position requires analyzing program effectiveness, optimizing processes, and providing insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing cross-departmental communication, tracking program metrics, and ensuring that learning initiatives align with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills, experience with learning systems, and the ability to leverage data and analytics to create impactful learning solutions.

Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Manage learning and project dashboards, analytics, and communication strategies to support enterprise initiatives. Coordinate leadership programs, change management efforts and maintain the master learning calendar.
  • Oversee team member outreach strategies across platforms such as Sharepoint, Teams and the learning management system. Responsible to create and maintain systems training schedules, podcast correspondence, podcast schedules and provide support for virtual training sessions.
  • Collaborates with leaders to create, maintain and support onboarding documentation such as role specific onboarding toolkits. Serves as a talent and learning liaison, ensuring smooth recruitment and onboarding operations, such as coordinating interviews and scheduling onboarding tasks.
  • Organize and promote leadership symposiums and conferences. Responsible for the project management, logistics and learning management system usage for virtual and in-person events.
  • Design and manage department newsletter, Sharepoint sites, and educational resources to enhance communication and outreach. Ensure timely updates and efficient resource sharing through regular outreach initiatives.
  • Supports departmental efforts to standardize and improve processes, manage content templates, and troubleshoot system requests. Oversight and support of the mentorship program, vendor content and evaluation metrics to drive operations improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Sciences, Business Management, Information Technology Sciences, Project Management, Learning and Development, Communications
  • Experience - 3 years of experience in Information Technology Systems, Learning and Development field, Adult learning theory, project management expertise; Digital Learning coordinator/specialist; Training coordination and schedule management; In-depth working knowledge of on-line education design and delivery. Preferred: healthcare/hospital administration background,.

In Lieu Of

  • In Lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, the following combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered an equivalent substitution: 5 years of training coordination program and/or project management experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
  • Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Skill and experience in adult education - preferred
  • Proven experience in managing large scale projects - preferred
  • Large scale LMS administration, analyst or digital coordinator and data base management experience - preferred
  • Proven experience in healthcare/hospital administration - preferred
