Job Summary:
A women’s health and pediatric clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in OB-GYN and Pediatrics. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience, possess excellent patient care skills, and be passionate about providing high-quality healthcare services. We prefer candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and live in or near Magnolia and New Caney, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in both OB-GYN and Pediatrics, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans.
- Conduct routine prenatal care visits, including monitoring fetal development, performing ultrasounds, and providing educational support to expectant mothers.
- Offer guidance and support to parents, caregivers, and patients regarding pediatric care, growth and development, immunizations, and nutrition.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Provide patient education regarding preventive care, health maintenance, and management of chronic conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to medical protocols and standards of care.
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Minimum of 2 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in OB-GYN and/or Pediatrics.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
