Human Resources Business Partner
We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our retail locations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with dealership leadership and employees to align HR strategies with business objectives. You will serve as a key advisor, ensuring that HR policies, programs, and initiatives are effectively implemented to drive engagement, performance, and business success.
Reporting Structure:
The HRBP position reports directly to the Human Resource Director.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to dealership managers and leadership, providing guidance on HR best practices, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Partner with store leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals, ensuring a strong, engaged workforce across all locations.
- Use HR metrics and data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving employee retention, engagement, and performance.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions while ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Support managers with performance management, coaching, and development plans.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and support recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new employees have a seamless integration into the company.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and facilitate development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Work with managers to create career development plans and succession planning initiatives.
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Champion Pritchard Companies' culture by fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts within all retail locations.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR business partner, generalist, or related role, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to travel between dealership locations as needed.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience handling employee relations and performance management matters.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus
