We are seeking a dedicated Airport Shift Manager to join our team at Orlando International Airport. The successful incumbent will play a crucial role in overseeing the janitorial maintenance operations at the airport. The position will be reporting directly to the Site Manager. Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

• Third shift: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am.
• The expectation is to work weekends, days, nights and even holidays if required

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all janitorial maintenance activities at the airport.
• Supervise and coordinate third shift project work of janitorial staff, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the airport.
• Train and mentor janitorial staff on cleaning methods, floor equipment and safety policies, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project reports required by the client
• Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Handle any issues or complaints related to janitorial services, resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
• Perform the duties of the Site Manager and Supervisors when necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in facilities management is a plus.
• Minimum of (3) three experience in a supervisory capacity involving janitorial maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience and skills necessary to manage janitorial maintenance operations at an airport or similar facility.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to janitorial maintenance.
• Requires Authority's written approval for hire.
• Possess a current and valid Florida driver’s license
• Ability to acquire and maintain an airport security badge with ramp driving privileges
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
