What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Concierge & Assistant position at Private Business Owner and Family?
Not Your Average Assistant Job, Be My Right Hand & Business Partner in Crime (not really)
This is more than just a job, this is a flexible, fast-paced, high-energy position where you’ll be at the center of my life and businesses. I’m looking for a personal assistant who becomes part of the family, helping run my companies, managing my schedule, coordinating with my wife and kids, and handling everything from errands to social media to event planning.
You will work for me primarily, you’ll occasionally be needed to assist my wife, and even my kids from time to time. We’re a faith-based, family-first household, but I want to be clear: we are not a “perfect” Christian family, and we don’t expect you to be perfect either. We follow God and His purpose, not the world’s expectations. What matters most is how we love, respect, and serve others, we believe everyone deserves kindness, compassion, and empathy. We are still a wild, fun, and unique family.
If you ever slip up with language or have a tough moment, that’s okay, we do as well, we’re all human. All we ask is that there’s always respect and good intentions behind it. We welcome anyone with a good heart, no matter their personal beliefs or background, as long as you share the values of kindness, integrity, and treating everyone like family. Most importantly, we need someone that can be themselves, feel comfortable and feel they are in a healthy work environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
This is a very unique position, and we’re looking for someone special to fill it. Ideally:
- Female, younger, and naturally personable – You’ll be working closely with me, my wife, and our family, including our pre-teen daughter who is very shy, so someone with a warm, inviting, and sister-like energy is key.
- Attractive, confident, and well-presented – You don’t have to be a model, but you should have a strong sense of style, carry yourself with confidence, and understand that presentation matters, especially when representing me in public or on camera.
- Outgoing with a flirty, fun edge – A playful, lighthearted personality is welcome here. Someone who’s witty, has charm, and isn’t afraid to match my energy with a little sass or fun banter (always professionally, of course).
- Bold and direct – Not afraid to speak up, offer opinions, or even override my decisions when necessary to keep everything running smoothly.
- Highly organized – Able to manage multiple calendars, outfits, appointments, and events without getting overwhelmed.
- Quick on your feet – Able to think fast, adapt to changes, and handle surprises with confidence.
- Family-oriented – You’ll become part of our world, and we’ll welcome you into ours. If you have children or close family, they're welcome at family events and gatherings. This role is deeply connected to our life, and we want you to feel at home.
- Comfortable helping my wife (who has epilepsy) and kids when needed – Whether it’s errands, school tasks, or helping plan family moments.
- Ambitious and coachable – Willing to learn the business side of what we do, and open to getting your insurance license (we’ll cover the cost) to create more career and income opportunities.
- Open to a live-in option down the road, once full trust is built and if it makes sense for both sides. (Not required, but possible.)
Tech Skills & Tools You’ll Use (or Learn Quickly):
✅ Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
✅ Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
✅ Canva (creating graphics and social media content)
✅ Various CRM Systems (we’ll train you on ours if needed)
✅ AI Tools (like ChatGPT and others) - if you aren’t familiar, you need to be eager to learn and embrace tech fast.
✅ Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) - you’ll help create, edit, and manage content.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Manage and prioritize my personal and business schedule - making sure everything flows smoothly.
✅ Coordinate outfits for events, photoshoots, and important meetings.
✅ Research and plan travel, events, and experiences - both business and personal.
✅ Create and post social media content - including videos, photos, and stories.
✅ Run errands - anything from grabbing supplies to handling personal tasks.
✅ Travel with me when needed - sometimes on short notice.
✅ Handle communication (calls, emails, messages) - with professionalism and personality.
✅ Think ahead and anticipate what I need before I ask.
✅ Be comfortable holding me accountable - if I’m off track, I expect you to call me on it (with respect, of course).
Flexibility & Work Style:
This is a flexible position - if you’re in school or have another part-time job, we can work around your schedule. You’ll know your schedule in advance, but you also need to be ready for spontaneous opportunities and unexpected changes. Some weeks might be light; others could be intense. If you thrive in variety, you’ll love this.
The Environment You’ll Be Part Of:
Our household and businesses are built around faith, family, and purpose. We’re a Christian family, but we aren’t about judgment or perfection. We follow God’s calling and try to lead with love, compassion, and empathy, whether we’re at work, home, or in the community. We welcome you to bring your authentic self, whether you share our faith or come from a different spiritual background, kindness and good intentions matter most to us.
If you want to work in an environment where you’re valued like family, where you can be honest and real without fear of judgment, and where we grow together, you’ll fit right in.
Compensation:
This position will begin with a paid internship-style trial period for the first month. During this time, we’ll focus on training, development, and giving you a chance to showcase your skills, efficiency, and fit within our unique environment. It’s also a chance for you to determine if this opportunity aligns with your goals and lifestyle.
After the first month, we will sit down and discuss long-term compensation, which will likely be a set weekly or monthly rate based on an agreed average of hours worked per week.
All pay and structure details will be negotiated individually based on your experience, performance during the trial, and how well you integrate into the role.
This isn’t just about filling a position, it’s about building a long-term partnership.
