Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our Firm’s technology operations. This role is based in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing IT staff, managing secure and compliant technology infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of all systems supporting business processes. With a strong focus on cybersecurity, compliance and regulatory requirements, the IT Manager will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive financial data while driving technological solutions.


 Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Daily IT Operations: Manage the IT department, ensuring functionality, security, and stability of IT infrastructure.
  • Technology Strategy: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Security Management: Develop and enforce IT security protocols, protect the company against cyber threats and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Vendor Management: Work with 3rd party vendors, negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of products and services while helping to manage costs.
  • Team Leadership: Train, lead and mentor IT staff, assign tasks, monitor performance and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Technical Support: Act as an escalation for complex IT issues, providing support to internal teams to minimize downtime.
  • Compliance: Ensure IT systems are compliant with applicable laws, regulations and best practices, including data privacy standards.
  • System Maintenance: Oversee system backups, disaster recovery plans and ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives to improve overall efficiency


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related field.
  • Certifications: PMP, CISSP, and other relevant certifications a plus
  • Experience: 3-5 years of IT management experience in the Financial Services industry or comparable industry with a solid understanding of financial systems, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving with a proactive approach to technology management.

Salary : $95,000 - $120,000
