Responsibilities of the Manufacturer Warranty Admin
Toyota Dealership is seeking an experienced Warranty Admin to join our Service Team. The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for the submission and set up of our manufacturer warranty claims. The successful candidate will have a background in working in an automotive service department. As a Warranty Admin, you will work closely with our fixed operations department to ensure all manufacturer warranty claims are processed efficiently and accurately.
Processes payment of all services rendered
Manage, organize, and track all customer paperwork & claims
Timely processing of all warranty contracts and payments to ensure warranty and products are set up for the customer appropriately.
Submitting and following up on warranty claims to various manufacturers and providers as required by the dealership
Provide exceptional customer service when customers have questions regarding their warranty.
Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to warranty policies and products
Work directly with Fixed Operation Managers & Directors on claims, processes and procedures of all claims.
Keeping up to date with company announcements and factory recalls.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in insurance or related field preferred
2 years prior experience in a Warranty Administrator position
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Proficient in OEM collection processes
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Customer service-oriented with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and vendors
Strong communication skills
