What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Assistant- Seasonal position at Private Estate?
Hands-on, team-oriented seasonal landscape assistant needed to join the staff of a 600 acre private estate in Millbrook, NY.
Education, Skills and Experience
- Ability to perform strenuous landscaping related tasks under a variety of conditions and in all weather
- Experience in landscape installation and/or grounds maintenance desired
- Horticultural knowledge welcomed but not necessary
- Possess a valid NYS driver license
- Rudimentary proficiency in driving utility vehicles and pickups
- Rudimentary proficiency in the proper use of a variety of hand and power tools routinely used for grounds and landscape maintenance and gardening
- Demonstrates a good team-oriented attitude and willingness to participate in work wherever and whenever assigned
- Good communication skills – fluent in the English language

This position is full-time but seasonal. Potential for year-round employment for the right candidate. Compensation commensurate with experience.
