Job Overview:
A private family in Austin is seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Executive Assistant to assist with various household and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will provide support with managing finances, insurance, bill pay, tracking expenses for home projects, and communicating with schools, lawyers, accountants, and bookkeepers. Additionally, the role requires familiarity with organizational tools and communication platforms like Canva, G Suite, Notion, Slack, and Trello.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Support: Assist with managing household finances, including bill payment, tracking household expenses, and overseeing budgets for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Communication Management: Act as a liaison with schools, lawyers, accountants, and bookkeepers to facilitate clear and effective communication between the family and external parties.
- Project Management: Help with tracking and organizing household projects, ensuring timely completion, and assisting with the scheduling and coordination of relevant activities.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, filing, preparing documents, and ensuring smooth household operations.
- Use of Software Tools: Familiarity with programs like Canva for design work, G Suite for document and calendar management, Notion for task and project organization, Slack for communication, and Trello for project tracking.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role, with a strong background in financial tracking and communication management.
- Bookkeeping Knowledge: Previous experience with bookkeeping or accounting preferred.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
