Personal Care Assistant Position Available – Chelmsford, MA
Hello, my name is Michael, I’m 60 years old from Chelmsford, MA, and I have Muscular Dystrophy. I need one-on-one care for daily activities with responsibilities including grooming, hygiene, G-tube medication, dressing, and feeding, and more. I’m looking for a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with home care experience, an outgoing personality, and a good sense of humor.
Available Shift
Saturdays 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
On Saturdays, I enjoy getting out of the house to maintain my independence. I have a wheelchair-accessible minivan, and outings may include restaurants, movies, car shows, or casually enjoying a coffee outdoors. The PCA must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Compensation
Pay rate is $19.50 per hour (processed through Tempus Unlimited, paid bi-weekly). The pay rate will increase to $20 per hour effective July 1, 2025.
Training Schedule
Due to the current healthcare staffing shortage, training is available on select weekdays between Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. What’s your availability during the week?
