Family seeking energetic and agile Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a teen with disabilities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide support with mobility, motor skills, communication and sensory regulation
- Assist with meals, bathing and toileting
- Facilitate a variety of social, educational and therapeutic activities at home and in the community
- Maintain a vibrant and harmonious atmosphere
Pay rate:
$30 to $40 per hour
part-time with the possibility of becoming full time
Location:
East Hampton, NY
Required:
- Experience working with individuals with multiple physical and developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Caring and compassionate personality
- 1 year commitment (minimum)
