What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Private Jet Center?
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing aircraft to ensure safety and reliability in accordance to Private Jet Center's procedures and manuals and industry regulations.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform maintenance, inspections and repairs to ensure aircraft and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with troubleshooting aircraft
- Maintain documentation of all maintenance activities in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Be responsible for their assigned work area, shop, or ramp, ensuring that it is kept clean and free of hazards.
- Keep tools and equipment in a safe and operational condition at all times and ensure calibrated equipment due dates have not expired.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Hold a valid A&P certificate with ratings appropriate for the work to be performed.
- Hold a valid Airframe and/or Powerplant Certificate as appropriate to the work being performed.
- Prior maintenance experience in aviation required. Experience working in Part 135 aviation preferred.
- Be willing to be available during the work week as well as nights, evenings and holidays as needed.
- Always maintain a high degree of professionalism.
