What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Concierge Medicine, Primary Care - Full Time position at Private Medical?
Schedule: This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, onsite at our San Francisco office in the Laurel Heights area.
Who are we?

What will you be doing in this role?
You will work collaboratively with a Private Medical Physician, providing concierge primary care to a small patient panel of largely longstanding members of an industry-leading concierge practice. In this role, the successful candidate will perform a broad range of tasks ranging from primary decision making, to carrying out care plans, to performing nursing and administrative duties. At a low volume, this includes blood draws, performing EKGs and other non-invasive primary care testing, and assisting in patient scheduling and similar tasks.

- You will be well trained in our methodology of care and you will be surrounded and supported by colleagues.
- Our organization is uniquely collaborative. At times, when the demands of your shared panel of patients is low, you will help provide clinical, nursing, and administrative support to these colleagues.
- We have regular curated educational talks from outside experts, as well as internal educational case conferences.
- Additionally, you will have a budget for self-directed educational activities and personal or professional development.
About you:
- Education: Masters degree in nursing.
- License and certification: Active California RN license, board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), and BLS certification.
- Years of experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a primary care setting.
- Skills:
- Primary care management, interest in and facility with technology.
- Strong phlebotomy and IV skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise and confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care in a low volume setting that values quality over throughput, from comprehensive annual exams, to urgent care visits, to detailed longitudinal follow up of care plans, with an emphasis on prevention and lifestyle medicine.
- Care may be in person, or via telehealth, phone, or electronic communications.
- Autonomous, as well as directed , supported, and collaborative decision making around diagnosis, treatment plans, and logistical problem solving.
- You will have direct interaction with patients and consulting providers. subspecialists.
- You will be responsible for treatment planning, communication (written and verbal) with patients and other care providers, and in follow up.
- Administrative support will include coordinating appointments with outside specialists and facilities, prior authorizations, occasional medical records support, and coordination of care through members personal and executive assistants
- Under the direction of the CMO, collaborate on quality and systems improvements projects.

Salary : $176,000 - $186,000
