Woodworker (Block Builder)
***This will be a afternoon shift position; hours around 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM*** (4) 10 hours days.
PRM Inc is an industry leader in the production of custom-molded wheelchair seating and is looking for a full-time block builder.
The duties will include manufacturing foam blocks for seat and back cushions, hands on cushion production and shipment of products. The applicant would also be responsible for running multiple CNC milling machines. Previous experience working in construction, using power tools, and basic maintenance person background will benefit. To qualify you must have strong mechanical skills and a willingness to learn and be a team player.
Woodworker (Block Builder) Responsibilities:
- Will be in charge of building foam blocks for seat and back cushions.
- Will be in charge of operating multiple CNC milling machines.
- Must be able to use power tools
- Will use table saws, band saws, spraying glue
- Be proficient in cutting/trimming plastics and wood
- Will need to be physically fit to lit up to 50 lbs
Woodworker (Block Builder) Requirements: Ability to safely use and operate saws
- Mechanical operating skills
- Must know how to use routers
- Must be able to safely operate power tools
- Strong communication skills and time management
- Must be able to be an independent working
Woodworker (Block Builder) Benefits: After 90 days 100% medical, dental, vision 40 hours per week
