Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Davenport Screw Machine Setup Operators to join our esteemed team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This direct hire position is open to out-of-state candidates who are willing to relocate. Initial interviews will be conducted via ZOOM to accommodate applicants from outside the region. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Davenport machines for the production of various fasteners and specialized products according to detailed blueprints and specifications.
• Select and procure appropriate materials and tooling required for each job.
• Perform minor adjustments to machinery and oversee functions such as coolant flow to ensure optimal operations.
• Utilize precision measuring and gauging tools to inspect parts during production runs, ensuring compliance with specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain accurate production records, data entry for piece counts, and overall housekeeping standards.
• Report any major malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors to ensure continuous production efficiency.
• Follow all 5S procedures to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  
  

Required Skills

• Minimum of five years of recent experience operating Davenport machinery, with a preferred minimum of ten years of experience.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints and managing key process parameters.
• Skilled in using precision measuring equipment, such as calipers and micrometers for inspections.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Analytical mindset and technical proficiency related to manufacturing procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Proven track record of experience in multi-spindle screw machinery and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to perform inspections and minor maintenance on machinery as needed.
