About the role

You will test the functionality and usability of new or existing software before it goes live to ensure it is bug-free.

What you'll do

Assist with the maintenance of existing legacy applications and transition them to a new system architecture.
Work closely with developers.
Provide feedback on what needs improvement.
Produce top-quality programs that meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

Create and maintain an automated test environment.

Automate test script creation and processing using recommended automated testing products.

Know how to develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures and documentation.

Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, and regression testing.

Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance.

Capable of testing and qualifying functional behavior of code.

Conduct unit and functional testing on bug fixes.

Highly Desired Skills

Knowledge of testing web-based applications including those with databases and web services / APIs.
