Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Estimator to join our collaborative team of seasoned estimators, architects, and construction professionals. If you are passionate about commercial construction and eager to grow your skills in estimating while contributing to exciting projects, this is the opportunity for you!
As a Junior Estimator, you will work closely with a diverse team to support the estimating process on various design-build projects across the Northeast. You will assist in preparing cost estimates, evaluating project requirements, and collaborating with architectural and construction teams to ensure every project is both efficient and innovative.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Collaborate with seasoned estimators, architects, and project managers to assess project scopes and deliver value-engineered solutions.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify labor, material, and time requirements.
- Research and maintain an up-to-date database of material costs, supplier quotes, and subcontractor bids.
- Provide input for project schedules and identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and team members to ensure seamless project execution.
