Customer Service Representative
Pro Disposal Inc. collects trash and recycled materials in the Central Pennsylvania Region. Currently, we operate out of four regions of Portage, Johnstown, Altoona, and Philipsburg and serve customers in eight counties. We are seeking a well-spoken and professional Customer Service Representative to help fulfill the needs of our growing customer base. This position is fast paced and call-centric with an average of 70 calls per shift.
Responsibilities:
- Follow correct phone etiquette to determine the most effective ways to answer a clients or customers questions
- Providing proper introductory information to new customers
- Ensuring that customers are satisfied with services
- Informing customers or clients of additional products or services
- Escalating queries and concerns
- Troubleshooting common issues or questions with service
- Working with a team of CSRs and other departments to find appropriate solutions while also working independently
- Assist collections department with outbound calls
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Use deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills
Requirements:
- Experience handling incoming and outgoing phone calls (2 years' experience in a Call Center or related field)
- Previous work experience in customer service and/or sales (2 years' experience)
- Excellent typing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn relevant computer applications
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask effectively
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Accounting knowledge (preferred)
