What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Shop Paint Tech position at Pro Dynamic Collision Center LLC?
What will you do?
The paint technician will be utilizing the latest spray equipment and proven painting techniques to inspect, prepare, blend and refinish vehicle surfaces. The ideal candidate must be meticulous, efficient and have prior experience in a body shop environment.
Technician Duties include but are not limited to:
· Utilize air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc.
· Apply and work with putties, fiberglass, panels and components to prepare for assembly.
· Some prep including tape, mask, sand and grind
· Expertly mix paint and adjust color if needed
· Participate in training activities; attend training classes as assigned
· Communicate regularly with body shop advisor/dispatcher to confirm repair information.
Job Requirements

· Manual dexterity and physical stamina
· Must be able to frequently stand, bend, kneel, squat and occasionally climb
· Possess a precise eye to distinguish colors
· Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds unassisted
· Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
· Ability to communicate with managers and peers
· Ability to maintain composure under pressure
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
· Valid driver's license with Clean driving record
· Follow established safety protocols and company policies
· Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
