Description
ProFarm Group (PFG) is a subsidiary of Bioceres Crop Solutions, a global provider of biologically derived fertilizers, inoculants, crop traits, adjuvants, biostimulants and pesticides, serving the ever-expanding agricultural markets. PFG focuses on discovering, developing, and marketing nature-derived biostimulants, as well as pest management products from microbes and plant extracts for the effective control of invertebrate pests, weeds, and plant diseases.
This position provides leadership and coordination of the company’s cash flow, ensuring that Receivables are collected in a timely manner and Payables are honored as planned.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Responsibilities include:

Prepare and present a 13-week cash flow weekly to the Leadership.

Align collections with payments in agreement with the Global Finance Team
-
Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits, and collections

Manage routine GL system maintenance and monthly GL account reconciliation preparation, journal entry controls, and month-end financial closing process

Safeguard assets and ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal controls and checks across AR and AP

Provide support to the monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close, including financial reporting

Develop, improve, and issue timely monthly and quarterly financial records for the Leadership Team

Interface with outside audit firms(s), banks and lessors

Perform a detailed review of journal entries and supporting documentation

Establish departmental work processes and maintain written policies and procedures

Assist with the implementation of SOX 404
-
Other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:

Train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance-related field required, Master’s degree preferred

Five to ten years of experience in a senior-level finance position
-
SAP experience preferred
-
FP&A experience preferred
-
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems

Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FUNCTIONS:
It is critical that the person performing this duty pays excellent attention to detail, can concentrate for long periods, and produces high-quality work products that need minimal management review. The person must also be a good communicator internally and externally. There will be periods of intensity and potentially long hours at peak times, particularly when preparing the financial statements and associated reports for presentation to the Leadership.

Compensation for roles at PFG varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
