Position Summary
The Cafe Supervisor is responsible for the operations of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Cafe, creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for all guests dining in the café while promoting the Hall of Fame’s mission.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Ensure high standard of service and quality and an efficient workflow.
- Promote a fun elevated “football-style” experience for the guests.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering food and kitchen supplies to ensure availability of menu items.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including dining areas, kitchen and storage spaces.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
- Train staff on food safety practices and ensure adherence to all relevant policies.
- Work closely with the hospitality team for team scheduling and training, developing menu items, promotions and special events.
- Assist in the development of staff training programs and standard operating procedures.

Are you up for the challenge? Here are preferred qualifications we are searching for:
- Degree in hospitality management, food and beverage certification, or a related industry experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food and beverage, events, or hospitality industry.
- Understanding of the game of professional football and its history preferred.
Schedule and Benefit Highlights
- This is a supervisory, full-time, non-exempt position, with a typical schedule of Thursday through Monday, 9-5 p.m., with some changes depending on events.
