Position Summary
The Event and Hospitality Sales Coordinator is responsible for selling event and hospitality venues at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This role involves prospecting, booking event space and event details, managing client inquiries, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring a seamless sales process from initial contact through event completion.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through networking, prospecting inbound and outbound leads, promoting event space via written communication.
- Respond to all inquiries and inbound calls, providing information on pricing, planning, handling any changes throughout the process for clients; prepare and hold pre-event meetings for details.
- Create Banquet Event Orders detailing each event in depth, including a scale diagram of room set-up utilizing in house software.
- Follow up with clients post event for potential future sales.
- Coordinate site visits with prospective clients engaging creative team for visual demonstrations.
- Assist clients with event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs and décor.
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best pricing and services for events.
- Assist with facilitation of all events and be present during specific events.

- Some experience in a sales environment preferred.
- At least one year of experience in the events or hospitality industry.
- Desire to work in a sales environment focusing on prospecting and outreach.
- High energy, creative, driven personality; ethical with unquestioned level of personal and professional integrity.
- Understanding of the game of professional football and its history preferred.
Schedule and Benefit Highlights
- This is an entry-level, full-time, non-exempt position; typical schedule will be Monday through Friday with the responsibility to cover specific events in the evenings and weekends.
