Overview
Pro-Pave is seeking an experienced Operations Site Supervisor to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily field and shop operations, ensuring projects run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will work closely with crew members, equipment managers, and leadership to maintain high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
Operations & Field Oversight:
- Supervise paving crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Assist with scheduling labor, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor job sites for safety compliance and adherence to company policies.
- Address and resolve on-site challenges, including scheduling conflicts, material shortages, and equipment issues.
Equipment & Fleet Management:
- Coordinate with the Shop Manager to schedule maintenance and repairs of vehicles and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all machinery and tools are in proper working condition before deployment to job sites.
- Monitor fuel usage, equipment tracking, and overall fleet efficiency.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
- Enforce company safety protocols and ensure all employees follow industry regulations and best practices.
- Conduct safety meetings and field inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure that all paving and construction work meets company standards and customer expectations.
Crew Leadership & Training:
- Provide leadership and direction to crew members, ensuring productivity and teamwork.
- Assist in training new employees on proper techniques, safety practices, and company procedures.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting communication and efficiency within the team.
Qualifications

- 3 years of experience in construction operations, preferably in asphalt paving.
- Strong understanding of paving techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate field crews.
- Ability to problem-solve and make quick, effective decisions on-site.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of fleet and equipment maintenance is a plus.
