Physical Therapy is a privately owned outpatient physical therapy practice in Winchester, Virginia. Preventive and Rehabilitation Organization, d.b.a. P.R.O. PT is focused on providing individualized outpatient orthopedic care with a clinical team dedicated to excellence, lifelong learning, and providing research driven rehabilitation and preventative care. An active member of the community, P.R.O. sponsors multiple local running races and sports teams. P.R.O. PT strives for an environment focused on continued learning and professional development employing professors from both the Physical Therapy and Athletic Training programs at Shenandoah University and typically hosts two or more continuing education courses per year. P.R.O. PT is also a clinical residency location for the Virginia Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy Institute (VOMPTI) residency program employing one or more residents per year working towards their Orthopedic Certified Specialty (OCS). The Winchester facility of P.R.O. • 40 hours of patient contact time per week (Monday – Friday) 
• Perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and carry out treatment of patients within the scope of practice for physical therapists in the state of Virginia 
• Perform documentation on electronic medical record system  
• Work with front desk staff and administrative staff to communicate and adjust patient scheduling as needed and to help get new patients in for evaluations in a reasonable timeframe 
• Work with front desk and administrative staff to communicate appropriately with other medical professionals, insurance companies, and patients as needed. 
• Work with and manage care with physical therapy assistants within the scope of practice for both professions in the state of Virginia. 
• At a minimum complete the required continuing education for state licensure  
• Attend at least one company sponsored continuing education course per year 

• P.R.O. PT partners with Onus One to provide reimbursement plans for the work that employees do. This varies from a nearly set salary to a salary that can be exponentially increased based on caseload. 
• $2,000 salary increase for every 2 years of experience in physical therapy practice 
• 7 paid holidays per year 
• 5 paid vacation days after the first 6 months of work for the first year, then 10 paid vacation days starting year 2 (paid vacation days increase with more years of service)

Requirements: 

• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree 
• Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligible 
• Strong interpersonal skills and strong orthopedic clinical skills 
• New graduates welcome 
• BLS CPR/AED certified  
• ATC, OCS, CSCS, or other recognized post-professional certification are a plus, but not necessary
