Transportation Coordinator I

Job Purpose :

Handle domestic and international shipments and support transportation functions.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Follow safety policies, processes, and instructions.
  • Operate a powered forklift.
  • Verify shipments match packing documents and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with packaging and paperwork for outbound goods.
  • Process domestic and international shipments.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipment regulations.

    • Additional Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a neat workspace.
  • Assist with logistics issues and equipment packaging.
  • Handle hazardous material shipments properly.
  • Train others in Transportation Coordinator I duties.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma / GED 4 years related experience OR associate’s degree 2 years related experience.

    • Skills :

  • Proficient in Syteline and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and follow instructions.
  • Experience with logistical tracking and supplier interaction.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
