Concrete Foreman

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Concrete Foreman to oversee and manage concrete construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of concrete construction processes, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of concrete construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of concrete laborers and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Quality Control: Monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of materials, equipment, and labor to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and upper management.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including labor hours, materials used, and any incidents or delays.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction management or related fields are advantageous.
• Skills:
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Certifications: Valid Drivers License. OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
