Our client, a leader in global health innovations, is seeking a Kotlin Developer to join their team building a full-stack application using Kotlin. If you have Kotlin experience, and backend-development experience this is the perfect position for you!.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a Kotlin-based web application that integrates with a broader ecosystem.
- Use Spring Boot (Spring Data JPA) to build APIs and backend services.
- Work with Vaadin or similar UI frameworks to create user interfaces.
- Design and implement PostgreSQL data models and queries.
- Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform.
- Optimize search functionality through ElasticSearch integration.
- Operate in an Agile Kanban environment, delivering production releases weekly.
- 4-6 years of Java / Kotlin development experience.
- Experience in Spring Boot (Spring Data JPA).
- Experience with Vaadin or similar UI frameworks.
- PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL, AWS RDS) experience.
- Agile / Kanban experience.
- REST API design and implementation.
- Test-driven development mindset.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
