Security Architect
Hollywood, FL, Florida (Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite)
Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
What We're Looking For:
We're on the hunt for a sharp, experienced Security Architect to join our team. If you're a Subject Matter Expert in Threat Modeling (think OWASP), have hands-on experience building secure systems, and can bridge the gap between business and IT with ease, this might just be your next big opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic vision for security architecture aligned with business goals.
- Define and implement security standards, policies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Dev teams to continuously enhance the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S-SDLC).
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure systems and applications, both on-prem and in the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Build relationships and drive the adoption of Security-by-Design principles.
- Oversee critical infrastructure security, including endpoints, mobile devices, and threat detection systems.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and integrate them into architectural design.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
- Certifications: At least one certification like CISSP, CISA, CISM, or similar.
Experience:
- Expertise in OWASP principles and threat modeling.
- Strong knowledge of PCI, GDPR, NIST, or ISO27000 standards.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Solid background in secure software development, vulnerability management, and network security.
Skills:
- Exceptional communicator and relationship builder.
- Proven leadership with a knack for solving complex problems.
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft data center technologies, cloud environments, and incident response.
