Overview
As a Technical Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving impactful software development projects, guiding them from ideation to deployment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery while aligning project outcomes with business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience managing in-house software development and release projects across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Hands-On SDLC Knowledge: From ideation and planning to QA, deployment, and post-maintenance.
- Tools & Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and DevOps practices.
- Soft Skills: Clear, concise communication with the ability to translate technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: CSM or A-CSM is a plus; PMP certification is a bonus.
Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Business Management, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 5 years managing technical projects using formal project management methodologies.
- Technical Focus: Must have experience with software development projects; candidates with ERP, SAP, CRM, infrastructure, or migration experience are not a fit.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline.
- Define project objectives and maintain focus on regular, timely delivery.
- Manage risks and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including reporting project statuses.
- Collaborate across teams to evaluate technical feasibility and drive successful project outcomes.
- Champion best practices in project management and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Participate in Controls release efforts, including release note creation and demos.
- Maintain detailed documentation on processes, projects, and learnings.
