Medical Director – Inpatient Psychiatry

Overview:
Seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide clinical and administrative leadership for an Inpatient Psychiatry Service . This role includes supervising psychiatrists and CRNPs while maintaining a small patient caseload (up to 10 patients).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise psychiatrists and CRNP providers .
- Develop clinical policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Oversee patient care , including evaluations, treatment, and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with nurse leaders and hospital administration .
- Represent the department in medical executive meetings .
- Maintain a limited caseload (up to 10 patients).
Qualifications:
- MD or DO , Board-Certified in Psychiatry .
- Valid PA medical license & DEA registration .
- 3 years of clinical experience (leadership preferred).
- Expertise in behavioral health, EHR systems, and compliance .
- Strong leadership and communication skills .
Clearances Required:
- FBI Background Check, PA Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance .
