Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) with a vertical focus on healthcare to drive sales and develop long-term relationships within hospitals, healthcare systems, and medical facilities. The ideal candidate has prior experience in enterprise-scale physical security systems or a strong understanding of IT or facilities management within healthcare environments.

In this role, you will work closely with healthcare executives, security directors, and IT / facilities teams to assess security needs and develop customized solutions that align with compliance requirements, operational goals, and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Business Development :

Identify, target, and engage decision-makers within healthcare organizations, including CIOs, Facility Directors, and Security Teams.

  • Develop tailored security solutions that address healthcare-specific challenges such as patient protection, regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Joint Commission, etc.), and emergency response planning.
  • Generate new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.

Consultative Selling & Relationship Management :

Act as a trusted advisor to healthcare clients, understanding their security needs and offering customized technology solutions.

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships to drive ongoing service agreements and solution upgrades.
  • Present compelling business cases and ROI analyses to executive leadership teams.
  • Industry & Technology Expertise :

    Stay informed about industry regulations, emerging security threats, and healthcare compliance requirements.

  • Understand and articulate the integration of physical security systems with IT infrastructure and hospital operational workflows.
  • Partner with internal engineers and technology experts to deliver tailored solutions, including cloud-based security, AI-driven video analytics, and mobile access control.
  • Collaboration & Account Growth :

    Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales engineers, project managers, and service teams, to ensure successful project execution.

  • Expand service contracts and recurring revenue streams by identifying opportunities for upgrades, expansions, and managed services.
  • Represent the company at healthcare security conferences, trade shows, and industry events to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in enterprise-scale physical security sales or knowledge of IT or facilities management within the healthcare industry.
  • A track record of consultative sales success in a B2B environment, preferably within hospitals, healthcare systems, or medical facilities.
  • Understanding of healthcare security regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, Joint Commission, NFPA, HCAHPS).
  • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans , including pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with security technologies such as access control, video management systems (VMS), visitor management, and emergency response solutions is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly regulated and mission-critical environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling security solutions in healthcare or a background in healthcare IT or facilities management.
  • Familiarity with key security platforms such as Genetec, Lenel, Milestone, Avigilon, or Verkada.
  • Previous experience working with construction firms, general contractors, or A&E firms on healthcare projects.
