Pro Tech Quality Solutions is a private company owned and operated in Kentucky since 2008. We provide quality support to automotive manufacturing; Inspection, Containment, and Representation. With over 100 direct employees in Kentucky, and satellite operations in Mississippi and South Carolina, we are a vibrant and diverse company with substantial annual growth.
We are looking for a dynamic, individual to take the leadership role in Human Resources with a strong emphasis on recruiting the best employees, and being compliant to all State and local laws.
The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and orients new staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Payroll.
- Benefits management.
- Address Unemployment claims and EEOC complaints-as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provides support and guidance to generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems (ADP/EASE).
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
