ProTech Staffing is seeking for a Process Technician II to join our team. Please see the job description below. The schedule is Sun / Mon / Tue and every other Wed, 6AM to 6PM with occasional overtime.
What part will you play?
ProTech Staffing is seeking a Process Technician who will work on implementation and optimization of process control for building the next generation of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) products
You will report to the Production Manager and work cross-functionally to support various processes in manufacturing. You will join a highly focused team that thrives in a start-up, fast-paced environment
You will be part of the team that is responsible for manufacturing and delivery of high quality, high-volume photovoltaic solar technology solutions that transform today’s roofs. The role will focus on creative problem solving and collaborative work necessary to ramp products to high volume manufacturing
What will you do?
Perform process control steps such as data collection, testing and process qualification
Collaborate with internal teams to analyze process and toolings
Assist internal teams to qualify new processes or tools
Work with cross-functional teams on process control and improvements
Create process instructions and train production personnel
Coordinate and track process control with data to ensure maximum process performance and tool up-time; ensure that all process control activities are performed per the established schedule and within specification
Read and follow manuals, diagrams, and schematics for process operations and aid in troubleshooting activities as needed
Quickly respond to process and tool issues to resolve problems and minimize downtime
Follow process control list and out of control action plans
Investigate and implement corrective actions to prevent repetitive problems
Establish process control for critical process parameters and optimize process capability
Validate and characterize new process and tools for production implementation
Perform root cause analysis on critical issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
Lead or participate in activities pertaining to workflow and process improvement
What do we require from you?
AS degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent or 4 years of relevant work experience as process or equipment technician
Knowledge and ability to follow procedures to perform process control tasks
Experience in bringing up new tool or process is a plus
Familiar with Statistical Process Control and MES
Understanding of BOMs, manufacturability, process design, and improvement methodologies
Demonstrated experience in manufacturing ramp up
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external functional teams verbally, in writing, and via presentations Impeccable attention to detail, a process-oriented mindset, and excellent time management skills
