PRO Transportation is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing logistics team! Position Overview: The Business Development Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships among business partners while developing strategies to acquire customers through partners and channels. The ideal candidate excels at selling, negotiating, and influencing others while remaining calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
· Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs
· Monitor sales progress and ensure corporate goals are met
· Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients through regular meetings and communications
· Promote company services by addressing and anticipating clients' objectives
· Prepare and manage contracts in compliance with established rules and guidelines
· Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, and invoices
· Develop long-term strategic partnerships with new and existing clients
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, supply chain management, logistics, or relevant fields
· 3-5 years of business development, sales, or supply chain/logistics experience
· Proven track record of sales growth and revenue generation
· Experience negotiating complex agreements
· Strong project management skills
· Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Independent self-starter mentality with demonstrated ability to meet organizational goals
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities
· Strong collaborative skills for cross-functional team initiatives
Location and Travel:
· Primary Location: Corporate headquarters in Buffalo, NY
· Remote work may be considered for qualified candidates
· Travel Requirements: 30-40% local travel (within 100 miles) with periodic overnight travel
Compensation and Benefits:
· Base Salary: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
· Commission structure based on performance

Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time position
Physical Requirements: Primarily office-based role requiring extended periods of computer work. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.
