Position Details:
- Location: Onsite near Prince Frederick, MD
- Start Date: ASAP
- Employment Type: Full-Time (K-12 Caseload)
- Hourly Pay: $45 - $54(based on experience)
- Caseload: Details will be discussed in an interview with the Director of Special Services
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active MDSchool Psychologist license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment, intervention, and consultation practices in schools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students academic, behavioral, emotional, and social needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support student success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create positive learning environments
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Participate in school-wide programs promoting mental health, positive behavior support, and academic achievement
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all services provided
