Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. Duties
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to clients' specific situations.
- Develop treatment plans based on data collection and medical records, ensuring they align with best practices in psychological care.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing acute psychological distress.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote healing and support among participants.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients with disabilities and other behavioral health challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with ethical standards.
Experience
- A degree in Psychology or a related field is required; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are preferred.
- Experience in school psychology or child family counseling is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in psychological testing methods and data analysis is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Christian counseling principles is a plus.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities and conducting crisis interventions is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds are essential for success in this role.
