School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Tacoma, WA
We are seeking a passionate and licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Tacoma, Washington for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time position provides the opportunity to support students in developing their communication skills in a collaborative educational setting.
Position Details:
- Location: Tacoma, WA
- Schedule: Monday Friday
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Start Date: August 2025
- End Date: June 2026
- Caseload: TBD (PreK-12)
- Work Setting: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP.
- Assist in implementing IEP goals and therapy plans.
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the school team to support student success.
- Prepare materials and activities for therapy sessions.
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Active Washington SLPA License.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
