Location : New Britian, CT

Position : Full-Time [Contract]

Salary : $35-$40.00 per hour

Overview

We are looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to work with K-12 students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will create inclusive classrooms, develop IEPs, and collaborate with staff and families to support student growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IEPs.
  • Provide individualized support to students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and staff.
  • Monitor and adjust instruction based on student progress.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelors degree in Special Education.
  • Certification : Valid Special Education teaching license (K-12).
  • Experience : Preferred, but not required.
  • Skills : Strong communication and classroom management skills.
