Special Education Teacher
Location: Prairie Grove, AR
Schedule: Full-Time, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Duration: Full School Year
Position 1: Middle School (Self-Contained)
- Caseload: 4-6 students (Grades 4-6)
- Provide specialized support in a self-contained classroom setting
Position 2: Jr. High (Resource Classroom)
- Caseload: 7th-8th grade students
- Provide resource support in an inclusive setting
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide differentiated instruction based on student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to ensure student success
- Support students with various disabilities, including Autism, learning disabilities, and others
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Certification required
- Experience with middle and junior high school students preferred
- Strong skills in IEP development, differentiation, and collaboration
