What we are looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Engagement Lead - Technology to join our team. You are someone who has good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, have detailed knowledge of various datasets like LAAD, DDD, XPO, etc., enjoys working on complex data sets to help clients solve diverse real-world problems and drive business performance, navigate risk, and develop pragmatic strategies through data-driven insights.
What you'll do:
- Experience assessing clients’ workloads for Cloud suitability and developing adoption roadmaps.
- Take ownership of project phases, driving team efforts and managing diverse skill sets.
- Convert business requirements into technical solutions that address key problems.
- Facilitate seamless communication among team members across different regions.
- Make timely, informed decisions considering broader project implications and technical details.
- Stay updated on emerging Cloud technologies and trends.
- Work closely with client teams and/or ProcDNA project teams.
- Lead transformation projects and Cloud infrastructure migrations.
- Design large-scale production solutions on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Hands-on ability to turn designs into functional solutions.
- Deep understanding of securing Cloud technologies, with at least one professional-level Cloud certification.
Must Have:
- 6-10 years of experience in pharma technology consulting, with at least 6 years in the US.
- Experience with client service delivery on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Microsoft Azure. Multi-cloud experience is a plus.
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect – Professional (preferred), AWS Big Data Specialty (preferred), and AWS AI/ML Specialty (preferred).
- Experience with DevOps on AWS platforms and developing/deploying ETL solutions.
- Proficient in Java, C#, Spark, PySpark, and Unix shell/Perl scripting.
- Familiarity with technologies for metadata management, including Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, lineage, and Data Catalog.
- 5 years in data warehousing and data engineering, including requirement gathering and designing enterprise warehouse solutions from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools like ADF, Databricks, and Informatica.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Azkaban, Luigi, and Airflow.
- Proficient with SQL/NoSQL, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Apache Hive, and HDFS.
- Deep understanding of data governance and data quality management frameworks.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly learn and understand business processes to develop effective technical solutions.
