We are looking to add an Application Systems Consultant to our growing Implementation team! The ideal candidate will have a technical background and experience implementing software. Working in a customer facing role, it's important that this individual is comfortable articulating technical information and enjoys building strong client relationships.

The preferred location for this role is San Diego, CA. However, remote applications within the United States will be considered. Local candidates will generally work a minimum of one day in the office per week.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing and tracking all stages of the implementation process.
- Keeping management and client informed of project progress.
- Participating in on-going customer support and assisting with product release testing and documentation as needed.
- Assisting in developing, maintaining, and improving implementation programs, and materials.
- Helping customer through 16 week implementation (average) and participating in different stages of the project such as data conversions, database setup, and other related tasks.
Desired Qualifications/Skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical information to technical resources as well as non-technical users
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, patience and flexibility
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on sound judgment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines within stringent time constraints
- Professional poise and comfort with leading discussions with client decision makers and end users
- Motivation with capability to learn quickly
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports, SQL, or accounting a plus
- Dealership or Transportation Industry knowledge a plus
- DMS implementation experience a plus
- Must be available to travel up to 50% of the time to possibly include weekends and holidays; ability to obtain a passport for international travel, as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Computer Information Systems or related fields (applicable experience may be substituted)
- 2 years of product/software implementation experience or project management
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk, computer terminal or meeting table for a long period of time
- Ability to use hands and fingers or adoptive equipment to safely operate assigned equipment
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to use telephone frequently for a long period of time, and to hear and speak clearly by telephone
- Ability to work remotely and independently

Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
