Summary
There will be a limited number of summer internships available for Manufacturing Associates to join our team at PDF, Inc. As a Manufacturing Associate, you may gain experience as a machine operator, a quality auditor, a mechanical assembler or welder if you already have MIG welding experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools to assemble components according to specifications.
- Cut, bend, weld or assemble parts and machinery as per customer requirements.
- Assist in the powder coat paint department.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
- Work with team members to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Requirements
- Proven good attendance at school or work experience.
- Some mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Willing to learn to read technical drawings.
- Familiarity with being responsible and keeping self busy.
- Willingness to be flexible in tasks learned.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
