Job Title: CAD Drafter – Aggregate Processing Industry

Location: Shelbyville, Kentucky - On-site role (No Relocation Provided)

Terms: This is a full-time, on-site position in Shelbyville, KY. Relocation assistance is not available

Salary/rate: Up to $33 Based on experience

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for creating final production documents for equipment & systems used in the crushing, screening and processing of aggregates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detail custom conveying equipment, crushing and screening plants.
• Create detail & general arrangement drawings using CAD for fabrication & erection.
• Provide drafting support for multiple projects, assisting project managers in meeting deadlines & project goals.
• Collaborate with the project team to translate design concepts into detailed plans & 3D models.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Formal education/training in drafting using 2D and/or 3D CAD software.
• Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Additional industry-specific training or certification a plus.
• Thorough understanding of:
• AutoCAD and Inventor CAD system (Vault).
• Hydraulic schematics and piping layouts.
• Proven experience working with aggregate processing equipment & bulk material handling systems is highly desirable.

• Willing to travel to job sites (drive or fly) as needed with occasional overnight stays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
