Associate Scientist: Process Chemistry - Contract - Cambridge MA
Proclinical is working alongside a pharmaceutical company seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Process Chemistry join.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a part of the Process Chemistry group, responsible for the process development and in-house non-GMP manufacture of modified oligonucleotides and siRNAs.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry.
- Basic understanding of analytical techniques such as pH, osmolality, conductivity measurement, HPLC, and LC-MS.
- Familiarity with oligonucleotide manufacturing processes, including phosphoramidite chemistry and chromatography, is advantageous.
- Strong record-keeping and laboratory documentation skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high laboratory and scientific standards.
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly laboratory environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
The Associate Scientist: Process Chemistry's responsibilities will be:
- Support non-GMP oligonucleotide production.
- Develop, optimize, and scale-up purification methods.
- Execute non-GMP oligonucleotide purifications.
- Conduct downstream processing of purified materials.
- Perform in-process analytical tests.
- Participate in the creation and review of SOPs and batch records.
- Assist with campaign activities across various unit operations as needed.
